Master Chief is back where it all began in Halo: Campaign Evolved, and some of the original easter eggs of the game are still present, including the Thirsty Grunt.

Halo: Campaign Evolved fully recreates the original Halo campaign, alongside adding three prequel missions, and the hunt for the Food Critic achievement will catch the eye, as it is the only secret achievement in the game .

If you’re on the hunt for the Thirsty Grunt in Halo: Campaign Evolved to unlock the Food Critic secret achievement, Insider Gaming has all the details you need.

Image via Halo Studios The Thirsty Grunt is found during The Maw mission in Halo: Campaign Evolved, the last mission of the game, during the warthog run to escape the explosion of the Pillar of Autumn.

After Foehammer is shot down and you continue on to Plan B of the escape, drive through the hangar and continue following the tunnels ahead of you.

The door you’re looking for is the second on the right, with the first being a dead end.

Around 700m from your objective, take the tunnel shortcut on your right, and then jump out of the warthog to enter the door on the right-hand side midway through, where the Thirsty Grunt is located.

How to Get The Food Critic Secret Achievement The Food Critic secret achievement is easy to unlock in Halo: Campaign Evolved, as you just need to encounter the NPC.

As an easter egg that has been around since Halo was originally released 25 years ago, many will already know the location of the Thirsty Grunt, as it hasn’t been changed for Halo: Campaign Evolved.

Related: What The Ending of Halo Campaign Evolved Says About The Future If you’ve already completed the game, you can quickly load into the checkpoint just before you encounter the Thirsty Grunt by selecting the Rally Point Charlie checkpoint, which is available on any difficulty.

This is the best way to get the achievement, as you won’t need to worry about the timer counting down to the explosion of the Pillar of Autumn.
