He loves playing competitive FPS games such as Rainbow Six Siege.
In between, you can also find him grinding for better ships in Star Citizen every now and then.
If you need health in DragonSword: Awakening , then you need to start cooking meals.
Meals and cooking are the only ways you can heal your heroes, which is why we'll teach you how to cook.
This requires a few quests to complete, starting with the In Search of Ascension Mushroom quest .
There are recipes in DragonSword Awakening , but these are not unlocked through exploring the map ; they are unlocked by mixing and matching different ingredients while cooking.

This is a mission that you can obtain from Anne, the woman whom you meet very early in the game and visit more often to receive new mainline and side quests.
The quest itself is quite simple.
You will get to meet Guard Bart outside the castle and then find some mushrooms to cook a meal for him.
As you complete this mission, you also learn how to cook.
For cooking, you always need to find a campfire with pots, pans, and other cooking materials.
You can't find it in your inventory, but there is usually one near most camps or outposts.
You can't cook food on the go.
That's a reason why you need to prepare some meals before entering any dungeon.
If you run out of healing meals in the middle of a battle, there is no way to recharge them.
Cooking also requires ingredients.
The game features multiple types of ingredients overall: Meat Fish Seafood Eggs Vegetables Mushrooms Grains Herbs Natural Food Processed Food.
They all come in different tiers, recognized by stars.
Using high-tier ingredients will result in high-tier meals, which have stronger effects on the heroes .

That said, some ingredients require more time investment.
To get fish, you need to learn fishing.
For meat, you have to hunt and kill enemies like Boar.
And for eggs, you should find bird nests around the map.
Based on the ingredients you use, meals come with different effects .
Most of them are simply healing meals, but they work in different ways.
Some of them heal a small amount of HP over time, while others give you a big chunk of HP immediately.
Some meals will only resurrect a dead ally.
The healing effect also varies.
Some meals may only apply healing to the active hero , while other meals heal the entire team.
Aside from healing, some meals directly focus on combat.
These effects include increasing attack power, strengthening defense against incoming hits, increasing rage gain, removing incoming status effects, and reducing stamina consumption for the hero or the Familiar.

Roasted Vegetables Grill Vegetable (1x) Restores 2% of maximum health per second for 10 seconds.
Stir-Fried Mushrooms and Vegetables Grill Vegetables (2x) Mushroom (1x) Restores 140 HP and 2.4% of maximum health per second for 15 seconds.
Herbal Tea Boil Herb (1x) Resurrects and restores 35% of max health.
It's worth noting that some ingredients can be consumed in their raw form .
This will have a reduced effect, but it's still a faster way to gain health.
Sausage, for example, restores 85 HP for all team members when consumed in raw form.
DragonSword Awakening is available now on Steam.
