The most interesting part of this collector's edition, and likely the source of its high price tag, is a replica of a Thermal Detonator grenade from the Star Wars franchise. Collectors can long-press the top button to switch the detonator between standard and “droid popper” modes, and pressing or jiggling the detonator will trigger an explosion sound effect from the game. Whether this makes the package worth $300 is up to collectors to decide, but it's worth noting that the Collector's Edition content won't ship until April 1-June 30, 2027. Beyond Star Wars Zero Company, Star Wars game fans have a lot to look forward to throughout the rest of 2026. A new Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order manga is set to release in December, and the embattled Star Wars KOTOR remake is rumored to be re-revealed later this year as well.
