Arka Sarkar | Staff Writer Published: Jul 27, 2026 5:24 am Image via Kwalee Shift at Midnight has different traps for you to employ at your store, and you can use them to kill the different doppelgängers that will try to hunt you down.
When you begin your first night, the need for traps will be negligible.
Whatever hunt you face can be survived easily.
Recommended Videos You will need to utilize these traps effectively to kill the stronger enemies that you will meet during your night shifts.
Table of contents All traps in Shift at Midnight How to use traps in Shift at Midnight All traps in Shift at Midnight The current build of Shift at Midnight offers you three different traps.
You can purchase them as supplies from your checkout decks.
Here is the list of all three traps and how they work.
Image Kwalee Bear Trap: A cheap trap that catches doppelgängers when they walk up to it.
Stun Mine: Once the trap gets triggered, it will stun all animals and all enemies caught in the radius.
Flame Trap: Any enemy caught within the radius of the Flame Trap will be heavily damaged and burned by the fire.
This trap has the highest damage among all three options, but it also costs the most.
How to use traps in Shift at Midnight If you end up purchasing only the Flame Trap, you will be wasting a lot of money.
Traps are expensive in general, and you would rather not waste their efficiency.
Knowing which trap is effective against a particular enemy will help you get the best use out of them.
Image via Kwalee Bear Traps: Bear traps are perfect against Hunters and Brutes since they’re cheap and easy to purchase.
You can also lure enemies into them to get them killed.
Stun Mines: Stun Mines should be placed tactically around the lanes and corners where the enemy will try to chase you.
Don’t use them before night eight, since you’ll be wasting your money.
Flame Traps: Since they’re so expensive, I don’t use Flame Traps too much.
They’re only required during the final events against the strongest of enemies. 0 Arka Sarkar Staff Writer Tags: indies 0 Bookmark ( 0 ) Please login to bookmark Don't have an account?
