This is why checking out patch notes before you dive in can be quite helpful. To ensure you don’t miss out on any of the exciting additions, here are the patch notes for the Pixel Perfect update in Disney Dreamlight Valley . Table of contents All Pixel Perfect update new features in Disney Dreamlight Valley New character New Star Path New event More Olaf’s Grand Exhibition rooms Rerun events New items Changes and improvements When does the Pixel Perfect update release in Disney Dreamlight Valley? All Pixel Perfect update new features in Disney Dreamlight Valley Screenshot by Destructoid New character Ralph from the films Wreck-It Ralph and Ralph Breaks the Internet is finally arriving in the valley with this update. He’s the only character from this universe joining this time around, but Vanellope from the same movies has been in the valley for quite some time, so he won’t be alone. Ralph’s arrival also means a new villager house, more friendship rewards to unlock, and fresh missions to complete. New Star Path The Pop City Star Path arrives with this update, bringing lots of new themed items to unlock throughout it. This includes new outfits, plenty of city-themed furniture, an adorable new cat Companion , outfits inspired by The Aristocats , and more. Screenshot by Destructoid New event From Aug. 19 to Sept. 8, the new Parks Floating Festival event takes place. In this event, you can travel through a special portal to visit a Disney Parks-themed island. While there, you then need to check off a series of tricky puzzles to earn exclusive event prizes. More Olaf’s Grand Exhibition rooms Olaf’s Grand Exhibition is set to open two more museum rooms for you to complete in this update. These rooms are for the Sunlit Plateau and Frosted Heights biomes, so start stocking up on those supplies now to be ready for its arrival. Rerun events The Summer Sizzle and Memory Mania events are back for another run in this update. The Summer Sizzle event is unfolding from July 29 to Aug. 11, while the Memory Mania event takes place from Sept. 16 to 29. Both events have some new prizes you can earn if you’ve already completed everything they have to offer from past runs. Screenshot by Destructoid New items There are plenty of new items you can unlock with this update. Here are all of the ways you can get your hands on new goodies around the valley in Pixel Perfect. Buying items with Moonstones through the Premium Shop . This special store is getting a fresh batch of items you can buy in this update, including assets like a new skin for the Dream Castle and other key buildings, a meteor shower sky effect, school-themed buildings and furniture, and the Fantasia Broom Companion. Unlocking items through the Pop City Star Path event. Completing both standard and routine duties in this event grants you Tokens that can then be spent to earn exclusive rewards. All items featured in this event may become available through the Premium Shop in later updates, but none of them are guaranteed to, and they’ll be a lot more expensive if they do, so it’s a good idea to earn them in the Star Path event while you can. Completing Ralph’s quests and leveling up your friendship with him. All villagers have an array of exclusive items you can only get by building your relationship with them, so work on getting to know Ralph to claim some special items. Screenshot by Destructoid Changes and improvements The Pixel Perfect update also features an array of changes and improvements for existing gameplay systems. Here’s a full breakdown of all of them. You can now teleport to any villager you have level 10 friendship with. Once a day, you can spend time with a level 10 villager to activate the special best friend glow. This is a limited-time buff that provides a few useful benefits, like increasing your sprint duration and granting max-level profession bonuses for all skills. You can now give villagers more than one gift at once. Once per day, you can reroll the desired gifts for each villager. Three new Floating Islands are available to unlock for owners of The Storybook Vale DLC. This includes areas inspired by The Bind, Everafter, and Mythopia. The Peaceful Meadow biome is getting a collection of new fairy-themed crafting recipes you can make using materials found in this area.
