MMORPG News Promotions Rumors Say, World of Warcraft fan, would you like to play a character in Azeroth using the TTRPG system of Dungeons & Dragons? Sure, both of these properties have crossed streams before , but never in conjunction with Wizards of the Coast That appears to be changing very soon, however, as an apparently accidental reveal seems to have confirmed that D&D and WoW are officially coming together . EN World first spotted a now-deleted announcement post from the virtual tabletop platform Roll20 that confirmed pre-orders were live for D&D World of Warcraft. Wizards of the Coast is yet to respond to any requests for comment at the time of this writing, but it is presumed that this unintentional leak is legit, particularly as D&D is planning a bunch of reveals during Gen Con . The popular tabletop system clasping hands with other IPs isn’t exactly remarkable, as there have been crossovers with Stranger Things and Rick and Morty previously, to say nothing of the deep inspiration that D&D has on WoW . So really, this seems like it’s all but confirmed, but we still have to call this a rumor until the final word is uttered. source: EN World via thanks to Puill for the tip!
