Community Multiplayer News Updates Yep, it’s happened again, fam: Heroes of the Storm has received yet another little patchy-poo that kind of does what the last quarterly update did , and what all the ones before that during “maintenance mode” have done: There are some map rotation updates, some character balance finagling, and a new skin for the character Lucio as pictured above, which… is definitely an outfit. Fashion faux pas aside, the meat of this patch includes some minor additions to the Warhead Junction and Hanamura Temple maps, the arrival of Haunted Mines to ranked play, and yet another round of tweaks to several characters – Abathur, Alexstrasza, Ragnaros, and Chromie among them. MOP’s own Tyler has argued , these kinds of changes to the game have to date been confusing and constitute “reckless” development, but you be your own judge. While the maintenance-moded MOBA getting another patch is old news to the game’s vets and to us — this is our beat, after all — the launch of yet another update is apparently taking some people by surprise .
