What Is the Sealed Sanctum?
The Sealed Sanctum is a high-level dungeon hidden on the Sakurajima island. It’s not just another cave—it’s a multi-room gauntlet filled with level 50+ Pals, rare loot, and a boss encounter at the end. Think of it as a mini-raid designed for endgame players.
Unlike the open-world dungeons you’ve raided before, this one requires a specific key item to unlock the main entrance. Without it, the door is just a wall of glowing seals.
Getting the Sacred Seal
You can’t just walk up and punch the door. The only way in is with the Sacred Seal, a key item that drops from the Bellanoir boss fight. Bellanoir is a level 55 Alpha Pal that spawns near the volcano on Sakurajima. Defeat it, and there’s a guaranteed drop of one Sacred Seal per kill.
Bring a team of Ice-type Pals—Bellanoir is a Dark type and takes quadruple damage from Ice. A maxed-out Frostallion or Vanwyrm will make quick work of it.
Once you have the Seal, head to the Sealed Sanctum’s entrance: a massive stone archway at the south-east corner of Sakurajima. Interact with the seal plate on the door, and the way opens.
Inside the Sanctum
The interior is a series of connected chambers, each guarded by aggressive Pals. Expect to see Jormuntide Ignis, Blazamut, and Lyleen Noct at levels 50–55. The layout is linear—no confusing branching paths—so you can clear through relatively fast if your team is prepared.
Scattered throughout the rooms are Ancient Civilization Parts, Pal Oil, and Premium Spheres. But the real prize is the final boss: a level 55 Shadowbeak with a unique moveset. It drops the Shadowbeak Saddle schematic, which lets you mount and fly on Shadowbeak.
Should You Farm It?
If you’re pushing the current endgame content, absolutely. The Shadowbeak Saddle is one of the fastest flying mounts in the game, and the Ancient Civilization Parts you get here help you craft the Giga Sphere Launcher. But don’t bother until you’re at least level 50 with a solid pal team.
One run takes about 15 minutes with a good group or a high-level solo character. And since Bellanoir respawns every few in-game days, you can farm multiple Sacred Seals and repeat the dungeon for more loot.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Forgetting the Sacred Seal: The key is a one-time consumable per run. If you wipe inside, you’ll need another Seal to re-enter.
- Underestimating the enemies: The Pals inside hit hard and have high HP. Bring healing items and a few spare spheres just in case.
- Skipping side rooms: There are a few alcoves with hidden chests containing Technical Manuals and Pal Souls. Check every corner before moving on.
