This Devil Fruit is quite dangerous and so strong that even Blackbeard himself admitted he would lose a head-on battle. While they were believed to be without much power until recently, in the Final Saga, Imu showcased their incredible power after descending upon Elbaf in One Piece Chapter 1179. Imu has access to the power of Akuma no Mi, which is a unique Devil Fruit that holds properties of all Logia, Paramecia, and Zoan. Imu can utilize Various abilities through it, such as Covenants and the manipulation of the black flames of Omen. On top of that, Imu can also tap into a unique transformation thanks to his Devil Fruit, which makes him a demon. All these powers are most certainly awakened, as indicated by the round black ring of flames. While the official awakening status of the Devil Fruit hasn't been confirmed, we can rest assured that the ultimate villain in One Piece has awakened his powers.
