Three of Dungeons & Dragons' most iconic named characters—Mordenkainen, Volo, and Tasha—are finally teaming up for a proper adventure in a new Dark Horse Comics series launching this November. The wizard Mordenkainen, stripped of his magic, must rely on the traveling scholar Volo and the witch Tasha to prevent a draconic apocalypse. This isn't just a fun crossover for lore nerds; each issue will also include in-game stats and lore for the dragons featured, making the comic a functional tool for Dungeon Masters running their own campaigns. The ongoing series, announced at a July 23 San Diego Comic-Con panel, comes from Eisner Award-nominated writers Collin Kelly and Jackson Lanzing, known for their work on *Star Trek* and *Kang the Conqueror*. Ibraim Roberson (*Star Wars: The High Republic*, *Uncanny X-Men*) handles pencils, with inks by Arabson Oliveira, colors by Dan Brown, and letters by Haley-Rose Lyon.
